Our spirituality is rooted in both
the Ignatian tradition and
the experience of Charismatic Renewal.

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
& IGNATIAN SPIRITUALITY

LED BY HIM

“Seek and find God in all things.” Ignatius of Loyola

We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit revitalises our baptism. In this seminal moment we experience the personal love of God which in turn leads us to make the total gift of our life to Christ. Shaped by Ignatian spirituality we base our lives on listening to the Word of God and on obedience to the Church, and in this way to order our lives according to His will.

Through these two roots we taste in the Charismatic life the strength and gentleness of the Holy Spirit who gives us the daring and courage to witness and evangelise.  At the same time, regular spiritual accompaniment, following St Ignatius, helps us to recognise the passages of God in our life, teaching us to be attentive to both the interior movements and the consolation by which God guides us.

PASSIONATE ABOUT
ANNOUNCING THE GOOD NEWS

FOLLOWING JESUS POOR AND HUMBLE

“To give the reason for the hope that you have.”  1P 3,15

Our community is not an end in itself. We dare to recognise in the words of Jesus at the synagogue in Nazareth what defines our vocation: « The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.» (Luke 4, 18-19)

As a result, all aspects of our life are ordered to the mission of evangelisation: where we live, our way of life, studies and training. Throughout our life we are encouraged to continue our human, spiritual and theological training in order to deepen our faith as well as our minds. In this way we are able to dialogue with anyone, communicating what it is that makes us live and respond to the challenges of our world.

PASSIONATE FOR UNITY

WE DARE TO BELIEVE IN
THE VISIBLE UNITY OF THE CHURCH

« May all be one, like you, Father, you are in me and I in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.» Jn 17, 21

Members of the Catholic Church, Orthodox Churches, Eastern Churches, the Anglican Communion, Reformed, Lutheran, Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches … we choose to live, pray and evangelise together, without giving up our own identity and in communion with our respective Churches.

Because the division of Christians is the greatest obstacle to evangelization, because we believe that the prayer of Jesus Christ for unity will be answered: “May all be one so that the world may believe”, together, Orthodox,Protestants, Catholics, without further ado, we are taking the humble path of a shared daily life. ” (Community Manifesto, 1986)

PASSION FOR JUSTICE

ALL BROTHERS

«For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.» Mt 25, 35

Wherever we are, in our neighbourhood or parish, attentive to the social and economic needs of our countries, and in our professional life both locally and internationally, we wish to live and commit ourselves to a world of justice. This is reflected in different ways: a medical presence in Africa, France and Brazil; action with street children in Congo, Madagascar and Mauritius; educational presence in schools, support for migrants; professional and political reflection and engagement; environmental protection…
